We choose the best Zirconia powder and utilize a COLD ISOSTATIC PRESSING system to form shapes. Isotactic pressing is the method of creating ceramic blocks from dry powder and applying uniform pressure from all directions. The process involves enclosing the powder into a deformable mold and collapsing the mold using a fluid medium to apply hydrostatic pressure. The main advantage of isotactic pressing is the uniform application of pressure, which leads to a very homogeneous density and shrinkage, yielding a very reproducible process.

We choose high quality zirconia powder.

Zirconia Disks are softer in the green state, than generic zirconia. This extends the life of your spindle, and tools.

High Translucency has become a loosely used term to define the product, rather than the characteristics. The real definition lies in Translucency Parameters (TP), and Contrast Ratio (CR). The Contrast Ratio for Alien Zirconia Blanks are >34:1 CR %, one of the highest translucent zirconia offered in the industry.
